1. One word check in. Drop into your body. How are you feeling? What energy are you bringing to your writing practice today?
2. On three breaths, inhale through your nostrils and hum on your exhale. Rock or sway or place a hand on your throat or heart if that deepens your experience of the hum. Allow the sound and vibration soothe you and ground you in your body.
3. Write about your first kiss, your last kiss, and your next kiss.
4. Free write for five minutes about a crush you had in high school. Why were you drawn to that person? What was on your list of criteria for a crush back then? Do you know what happened to the person?
5. Free write for five minutes about an object of clothing that you wore so much it went threadbare. What did you love about it? Where and when and why did you get it? What memories are infused in it?
