When I was a child, I was afraid of quicksand. I saw a person on television sinking, asked my mom what was happening, and it captured my imagination. What a horrible way to die. I remember one night, during prayers, praying that I could avoid falling in quicksand. My mom reassured me that there was no quicksand in Minnesota, but I was far from convinced.
What were you afraid of as a child? Go back to those memories of your childhood fears. Walk around them. Write about your childhood fears and make them come back to life.
